Doro. Just what I need but I guess not most peoples cup of tea.
I need a phone that folds as they get a battering and there are not many on the market now and I need a very loud phone as I am a bit deaf. This phone is very loud and the rubber coating looks tough.
My last phone has lasted me 18 months and is in such a bad state it actually got handed in when I left it on a train last week.

It doesn't flip.. but..

This phone here is designed to take a battering and it's pretty loud. The guy demonstrated it to us by throwing it across the shop into the wall.

My Dad has a pretty rough job and it's not got a mark on it.

Thumbs Up!

Those both have exposed buttons and screens, I loose it on bikes at least a couple of times a year and my phone needs to not only withstand my pockets but going down the road at speed.

Whatever you do (and I know this isn't really germaine) but don;t go near any new Sony Ericson phones, you breath heavily on one and it breaks.

Mine lasted a month.

Thumbs Up

Confused Sony W580i's are tough as f*ck (as was my W810i). (Although I realise they're not a flip phone. Sony's are loud as well. Smile

Mines been thrown down the stairs (on more than one occasion), dropped in the bath, run over etc and it's fine.

I had a W800, W810 and W850, all of those broke. I'd never get another SE phone.

Bought a Samsung M110 for the O/H some months ago
https://www.unwiredview.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/samsung-m110.jpg

...all seemed fine, until she managed to leave it in her jeans pocket and put it in the washing machine Rolling Eyes

I've been having a look at those Doro phones cos she's asked for something sturdy and simple - like me, I guess Neutral
