Ive been looking at a lot of photos and even the microfices and it looks like the RR and RK have EXACTELY the same exhaust. This wouldnt surprise me as thing like carbs and cylinder head are the same. I looked at my exhaust and i can see what you lot seem to describe as the restrictor. Mine looks like a metal mesh cylinder going about 8cm down the exhaust. If you could tell me if this is what your restrictors looked like on your later bikes then maybe we can solve this hole restricted RK thing. I cant see 3 blobs of weld, but looks just like the end of the exhast of the new NSR i saw in my local bike shop.

Thanks

Dyl
p.s. i would start drilling it but i dont want to muff up a perfectly good exhaust!!!
