No it doesn't. It makes sense to not get orange neons, as you'll just be making yourself even more of a target on the roads. However your Max Power friends might think more of you.

No it's not.

I can't stand those ped kids with neons. If you can't get around without neons, you need a life

No

CBR250, TZR250, CR250, KR1S, RS250. Only two of those would make a good first bike though

No. I resent that. I'm 18, and I know how to talk and use a keyboard. More like the Ped Boi's of today.

He said *reliable* 250 Ste. The CBR250 is a four stroke Honda - reliable and good looking. Forget the rest as they're strokers. Tut tut Ste

/me hauls thread back on topic

Listen. If you want to put neons on your scoot - then do it. It won't make it any faster but it's your scoot so do what you want. If you want to put blue strips on it then do it. People may laugh etc or get moody because "we might think youre plod" etc etc but in the end as long as you're legit then fuck'em. Their problem.

To everyone else - who gives a toss what some kid does to their ped? If it's legal then who is it hurting? If it's insured, taxed, and MOT'd then it'll be more than most on this forum...

Blue strips wouldn't be. It is our problem, and this is one way of solving it it, by informing them about it Razz

Possibly true, but neon lights probably invalidate something somewhere unless they declare it as a modifaction. And I also hope that that ped is restricted to 30mph Wink Rolling Eyes

Thus my point Ste - If it's legit then do it. If blue stips are allowed anywhere on the bike then he can put them there can't he. If not then he can't. Same goes for neons. If he likes them and they are legal then he can use them. Just because you think it's not very clever does'nt make it law does it?

on the same topic of neon, i had Embarassed knight rider light on the front of my Dt125 Smile and i swear it made cars move over for me allot. And the police who did stop me once when they were standing in the road in front of me when they were on said nothing but it was a private road. Was on a switch so quick turn off.

I once thought neons were cool, as I'm sure a few people can remember that old thread of mine, Wink but now I think they're gay. I guess it's just a phase everyone goes through.

I have seen the light. Smile (no pun intended) Rolling Eyes
