Filling out an a Car Insurance form online

Question do you have a Full Uk licence

Answer yes

How long have you held that licence?

Hmmmm

I have had a provisional since 2004 did my CBT in 2005 passed my bike test in 2006 and I haven't passed a car test, for arguments sake say I passed it today.

Would I put 2006 or 2010?

I'd put 2006 unless it says Full Car License.

When you passed you car test.....

Put anything else and you risk them pulling the plug. You are applying for car ins, so a FULL licence, will be from when you passed your car test.
Well thats my take anyway.

As ever if unsure, don't rely on answers on the internet. Phone the company Thumbs Up

something else I just found out, if you apply online and tick to having x amount of years NCB it doesnt count if you are trying to insure a second vehicle, I never knew that until I actually phoned the company. Ive been driving for years too and have had to insure the second car on no NCB Crying or Very sad
