Bloody hell.

First thoughts were he hit some sort of pot hole which sent him in that direction but there's no movement from going over hole, so i guess target fixation right after he straightened up?

Couple of different angles including a tank cam from the bike itself.

my guess is he saw it and slammed the brakes on. instead of riding the corner out.

EDIT: or not, i saw no brake light from the tank cam

Looks like he got baffled by the double apex rather than a single one. He went round the first one tight tot he right hand side, then spotted that it straightened up before going right again. He straightened up to avoid going into the right hand side, but then didn't make the turn in point for the next part and ran wide.

He should have entered the first corner wider and taken it as 1 corner like the other 2 guys did.

Or no breaking noise/skids. Smile

Or he should have remembered he was on a road with cars coming the other way.

By how the bike reacts and just generally how he moves, I would definitely go with the slamming on the brakes probability. But the lack of brake light does raise doubts. it just seems a little suspicious how the bike stands up straight at the exact time he would hit the brakes. it's a funny one

by funny i mean strange. not by any means amusing! Shocked

Target fixation:

See van.

"Shit! Van!"

Panic.

Off throttle, bike sits up instantly.

Keep looking at van, keep thinking "ssshhhhhhhiiiiiitttttttt"

Bike goes where you're looking Sad

There was a whole lane of tarmac free there - if he'd have looked at the tarmac, I'm sure he would have gone past OK.
