Hi

Mid 80s mph top speed, maybe 90 with a good one. Big heavy and stable. Comfy to ride

I had a 400 for a while which did the job OK, but that had rather more power and better brakes. Rode a 250 many years ago and it was much the same but slower.

All the best

Keith

1996 model? Not the Superdream I was thinking of which went out of production in the early to mid 1980s.

All the best

i had a 1993 cb250 (two fifty), was boring as fook to ride, shit brakes, gutless engine, but would do 70mpg even if the throttle was to the stop the whole journey, motorways or town.

i would get 80 indicated on a motorway with no headwind, 85 if i could slip stream, 90 downhill and tucked in!!!! around 70mph if going into a headwind or up a hill, if both hill and head wind expect 65ish

simple simple bike though if anything was wrong, weighed bugger all, and was pish easy to ride, for £100 its a bargain

edit: blue x5, the cb two fifty was 4 valve, 2 per cylinder, or is that what you meant

Typical Honda commuters. Slow, dull, competent. But you can't complain for a hundred quid. They plod on all day and get the job done.
