Me and Ghost met up for a ride today with the intention of heading down from the Conwy Valley towards Dolgellau and then back up to home via Barmouth but the thick, black clouds rolling over the hills in the distance persuaded us that perhaps a spin around Anglesey would be better...!

I've been wanting a decent airborne shot of me on my bike for a while now (no idea why, just thought it'd be funny) so Ghost leads us off towards some humpback bridges he knows of and we start to have a bit of fun!

Me going for glory!

After deciding that our bikes probably weren't designed for jumps we took a good spin on some the roads around Anglesey and headed back onto the mainland (no riding pictures today, wasn't really feeling the road stuff today Sad )

The gates to the new and unoccupied industrial estate were locked so we had to do a bit of enduro style heroics to ride around it and up a bank to get in!

Ghost is currently trying to learn stand up wheelies so warms up with a few sit down wheelies.

Me showing him how it's really done... Laughing

Staggered pegs wheelie

Easily doing 15mph here

We decided after a while that Ghosts wheelies weren't getting any higher and we're both going to a mountain bike race tonight so we'd better stop messing around on motorbikes and get home to get ready for that!

Not super pleased with the pictures, I never seem to be able to get it together for wheelie pictures, no idea why, but we had a laugh with them anyway Thumbs Up

Nice pics!

I was going over a humpback a bit too fast a while back and felt the back wheel leave the ground and wasnt expecting it. The bike just suddenly revved.

Couldnt have been more than a centimetre off the ground though, not like that!

Can safely say i shat myself though.

I've been mountain biking for years so I'm used to a bit of airtime but not on a bike that weighs almost a quarter of a tonne! I'd love to try motocross but I've never been able to afford a motocross bike and I've just never really got around to properly looking into one of those experience days, one day though!

I always speed up for humpback bridges though Cool

I was switching between 400 and 800 ISO today, it's been murky and really flat and I probably pushed them a bit much in post but as long as I got the shot of me in the air then it's all good Laughing

I've got air on a proper bike and popped a few small wheelie, but it never really felt right. I had a go on a 250 dirt bike and found it amazingly easy to wheelie and get air on. If you can ride a mountain bike well, a dirt bike will be far too much fun Wink

This is what I'm afraid of, I already have plenty of super expensive hobbies so finding the money to buy a motocross bike and a van and a trailer and all associated gear and insurances is going to kill me! I'll get around to it one day though...

Thanks, I thought so too Laughing Good on Ghost for the timing as well, also for lying in the gutter at the side of the road to make it look good Laughing Laughing

Yep, my jumps were actually higher, just my super photographer commitment at lying in the gutter to get the perfect shot made Rob look good!

Was a fun day of messing around, I've decided my bike definitely needs downgearing for the 2nd gear wheelies though!

And the games and toys and stuff maybe they are like a motion like thing or they run on batteries
i used to have these balls i got for christmas lol they were called giggle balls and they ran on batteries and they laughed so freaking scary well the batteries started dying and they laughed when ever and they did it at night and it scared me so i threw them away same with dolls they seem like their eyes follow you so i don't like dolls but i guess it just has something to do with their eyes.
