Thats still illegal.

Well it depends on when the plate was made. As it was an 02 bike its certain to have had the plate made post 2001. plates made pre 2001 are:

79 mm

64 mm
57 mm

16 mm

Top, bottom and side margins (minimum)
13 mm
11 mm
Space between vertical lines
19 mm
9 mm


So even if it's a 90's bike, but you get a new plate made, it must be to the >2001 sizes not the <2001.

let`s hope this does`nt give the Home-Office ideas Sad and we all end up riding around with number plates that size Sad
