The "Vulcan howl" Thumbs Up

My late father used to fix these in the sixties. He actually got to fly in one in the early seventies Cool
My brother and i rode up to Bruntingthorpe in March 1993 to see the old girl land for what everybody believed to be the last time.

She's been back in the air for a couple of years now but i havn't had chance to see until today.
Today i went to the Lowestoft Airshow, mostly to watch her and she was magnificent

And she howled! anybody wh's ever heard that noise will know what i;m talking about. One of the best sounds ever!

Loved them since i first saw one in a musium when i was younger. I saw one take off many many years ago too. I watched a TV program not long again on britains nuclear bombers, all about the vulcan, victor and valiant, i'd recommend you find it and give it a watch. Might have been on 4OD

Mine used to instal the radar guidance systems. Smile
