Hello all,

No1 son is 16 soon and needs to sort his provisional licence. Can he apply now or does he have to wait until he's actually 16 ?

ps:- Almost forgot, how much is the provisional scooter licence these days ?

Yes he can apply before he is 16. Not sure of the cost, my best estimate is lots. Razz Directgov will have the answer.

Make sure he ticks all the relevant entitlement boxes - he'll want car and bike - doesn't come automatically as far as I can remember.

Yep, don't forget to tick bike category, it isn't granted automatically as said unless you want it and tick the box Thumbs Up
