Now I'm no expert, but thats a k7? Maybe just not registered until said date, but still it's being advertised as a new model. Am I wrong?

Note the number plate is also an '07'.

"I'm really honest with my listing because I travel all over the country to collect bikes and know what its like when you turn up and it's nothing like how it was explained"...

ironic, if he/she is selling a k7

Says at the end

"Please do not click on the vehicle report for the bike as this was from the last bike we had for sale on this listing."

Which may explain it but it also says

"Only 1 owner from new so 0 owners on the log book!"

Which means it's been registered so he should have the reg number.

Oops, so it does.

Certainly does look like an older bike - suzuki site has that model shown with a different exhaust and various other body work differences.

yep it's the k6/k7 model.
the k8-current, has different body work, exhaust,(ugly), S-DMS mode options, electric damper, small engine tweaks (refined intake ports etc) for low/mid range torque etc.

used they sell for about the same price as the one in that listing Neutral

Very nice indeed, you get that brand new? I absolutely love mine, still amazed at how easy to ride it is, and even with a standard can the growl/howl from the airbox is more than a little bit addictive...

Only thing is the gearbox feels a wee bit sloppy compared to the few other 600's I've ridden, like there's a wee bit too much slack in it, is yours similar? Picked it up with 300 miles on it, and figured it would sort itself out with time, but 4000 odd miles later and it's much the same, considering getting the dealer to have a look at it, it's not a problem at all, and I only notice it really after getting off mates' bikes, but as she's a new bike, I want her to be perfect!

Yeah I kno what you mean, I notice it more changing down the box at times but it is a nice, smooth bike that just glides between traffic. Not sure on the noise of the standard can yet? Bit mundane but will do for now, maybe should've gone for the 1000 as it does lack torque somewhat.

So far though really impressed, not given a bashing as been gentle on the engine (still less than 500 miles) and its been on the daily commute. That said, 130 comes up really quickly and quite easily and has bags of revs left.

Shocked

In the new one, headlights wider, longer exhaust, different sized tail unit amongst others.

Maybe like the POS XJR1300 I looked at today.

Listed as a 'great starter' and in VGC. Turned up and it had been stuffed under a cover for the last 'month or so' without so much as a wash. Funnily enough it wouldn't start (Rolling Eyes) and the fork seals are shagged.

I bet they were wondering why I walked away...

Anyway, that ad is a bit misleading, but as said earlier I reckon he's just slightly edited a previous listing. Not the best way to advertise a brand new bike IMO, but there you go.
