I'm currently trying to fit USD front end from my aprillia RX125 to my DT125sm, so i'm going to need to fit a sm rim to the rx wheel .

I'm just wondering if this is something i could have a go at myself ? Laughing and if it's do able does anyone have any decent links that show you how to do it? (as in full start to finish for dummies type guide)

Also any advise on where to buy cheapish rims ? will need 3.0"

Cheers
Dave

Rebuilding spoked wheels is fun. Do these wheels both have the same number of spokes and the same lacing pattern? You need to measure the offset from the hub, make sketches, take photos and take notes before you strip down so you can use them as a reference when you rebuild.

As far as i can tell, the new rim will be made to suit the manufacturers dimensions of the hub.

It seems building the wheel is relatively easy Rolling Eyes with the hard part being the trueing!
It's gonna take forever to get the hub centered and the offset right Laughing Is it even possible to learn it from a book/web link?
Either way i'd still like to try it, so any info/links e.t.c. would be much appreciated.
