Having seen this online for a couple of days and not a post here on it, I thought I'd share it.

This isn't a shameless plug to sell it by the way.

Its apparently the same as a Sony USB JIG they use in their factories to put the PS3 into service mode.

It turns a retail PS3 into a Debug unit and allows the user to back up their games onto either internal or external hard disk with a loaded package.

I'm waiting til the price drops or clones to come out.
