I'm 17 in september and I have tried 2 companies 1 called rampdale and it was £385 third party and the other was honda themself which came up to £450. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a better deal ?

Same price as me for my 600, i'm 22, license since may, years no claims. at your age it sounds about right

First off, Two whole companies? Aren't you efficient and studious! Laughing

You need to phone twenty companies before you'll get a decent price.

Secondly, You want to get it cheaper than 385? You'll be lucky. I had an NS125R at 19 and paid £600. That was admittedly over ten years ago now, but still I suspect insurance should have gone up rather than gone down!

And lie about your best quote on the form, say it's £250 with bennetts or something.

I had quotes for my ZX9R ranging from £1000+ fully comp to £275 fully comp. I am 25 with 4 years NCD
