Work this one out.

Hi there guys, whenever I got to start the scooter from cold the electric start won't work, theres no noise from the starter motor the button simply does nothing but push in. When I kick start it, warm it up and then try the electric start it works fine. Any help?

Battery losing charge quickly? Nothing when cold, holding a little bit when you've run it for a while and it's still warm, losing it again by the time the bike's cooled.

Op, do the indicators and horn work prior to starting the bike, if they do not then the battery is probably on its way out or you could have a leakage in the electrical system which is draining the battery, scooter batteries tend to be on the small side and have a hard life so its not unusual for them to be replaced often. If the battery is shot try to buy the best quality that you can afford.

The indicators work fine before I try and electric start. I have been hearing unusual noises when I try the electric start (from warm)
