Hey all, currently running arround on a 125 and hope to have my test sorted out to get a 33bhp bike soon.

Just curios though to what performance difference i would get along with top end speed if i went from a 125cc to a 250cc bike?

Also, whats top end speed usually on a 400cc?

Thanks Smile

yep, go 600cc, insurance shouldn't rape you too much really, i only have a years no claims and went from a 125 to 600cc for £400 TPFT, 400cc bikes have all been ragged generally and 250cc is fairly gutless imho

If I was doing my probation period again I'd probably opt for a DRZ400.

How much are you looking to spend?

spend = as little as possible

the biggest thing that concerns me is my height, i am 6ft 5 and i think i only just pull off looking decent on the 125 i have Razz

i would have liked a CBR 600 but its the size of them that are off putting as i think i may be too big for them,

so ideally i would like a bigger enduo bike for road use only but i don't see much of them to know what i should be looking for on ebay and in the papers etc.

I'm also 6ft 5 and have found an ER-5 perfectly fine to ride... bit boring but enough room.

I then had a Bandit 600s which was pretty roomy (it was a 2004 model) then I had ZX6R (2000 J model) which again were very good sized. Also had a thundercat 600 which was perfectly well sized too.

Plenty of 600's you can get which have loads of space for the taller gent.
