What I don't get is why they keep on crying. They are only going to make the situation worse!

I notice the worldwide 'Aid' to Pakistan seems to be minimal in comparison to the funds raised for disasters such as the Tsunami, Orleans flooding, earthquake etc etc.

I question whether this is down to the recession or the fact Pakistan is considered a terrorist nation.

Though I don't doubt the people worst affected by this are normal families..they certainly haven't received the assistance other disaster victims have.

Media coverage seems on par...so why have we got this situation with the poor contributions?

I can't help but feel the constant links between 'terrorism' and Pakistan in the news has in some way contributed.

Is this the case or is it simply most folk don't like Paki's.

BK.

You lot are a bunch of insensitive bastards. Imagine your whole family died and you lost your home and you had nothing but what you wore.

I think crying would be the least of your worries.

I think people are just fed up with the buggers whinging and always having thier hands stretched out for aid with very little self help.
Also the fact that people are tired of the PC brigade in this country where you can't criticise anyone from that area living in this country no matter what the reason.

The fact that I have posted this, some will see me as being racist, but it isn't, I'm just fed up listening to people saying we aren't doing what they think we should be doing.

There were far more appeals for Haiti than there are for the apparently much worse Pakistan disaster...

I hate spongers just as much as the next guy but I think saying that they should help themselves rather than asking for aid is a bit harsh.

What are they supposed to do. Millions of people with absolutely nothing. I bet you would ask for help.

Whether we should help is a matter for your conscience. Our own country giving money away when we need it aswell is not good but hopefully when something happens to us, others will help.

Yes but if the UK took a significant hit and our financial market collapsed then the world would fuck up. Look what happened to Turkey and that isn't exactly a major financial capital.
I am sure countries would help us.

I am not for sending loads of aid because it will just be us, the US and a few others that will donate a little bit.

I don't mind us helping out but I am not personally going out there or anything. I will just do what they are doing if it happens to us. Do as much as I can myself and ask for help. Laughing

Also the media won't go all the way to Pakistan and then film the people that are actually doing something will they. They go to film the worst hit area and film the old ladies who lost everything so we will never get a true picture of what is going on.

FUCK. A pigeon just flew in my room. Lol

All these piece of shit countries never have the infrastructure to be able to sort the problem themselves, and then make people feel guilty when they dont help.

Obama the other day on the news saying we should be tolerant of everyone and help where we can, when he approved the building of a mosque almost directly on ground zero. Do any of you lot honestly think people in Iraq/Iran/Pakistan etc etc. would allow the building of a Cathedral right on top of a site they called ground zero? Would they fuck.

Respect works both ways, and it seems to me that it's always western countries that are holding out the olive branch.

Charity begins at home. Fuck 'em.

I ran a Paki over the other day. I was going to go back and see if he was O.K, but I was having way too much fun in my speedboat.

I'm here all night.

My mothers from Pakistan. You lot are cold...... and some of you are quite racist, selfish, ignorant, stupid, uneducated, watch too much TV with not enough of your own research and have a narrow minded perspective on how the world is run.
