honda nsr derestricting

can i use a inported cdi box to lift the 7 rpm restriction? i was told to cut the bridge on my honda nsr 125 ry foxeye to lift the restricted revs but i found an inported nsr with a cdi box can i use that instead/

sounds like you just have the wire shunt under the tank, try pulling that out, is a 2 second job, may as well have a go. any idea which country the import is from?

dont go buying a new cdi until you establish if its actually necessary

you're partly right Stowelly , it's may be a swiss import but it can be something else
the Geek , i may help you if i know your complete serial number (between the yokes begining by ZDCJC22..........)
