Sorry if this is in the wrong section, if it is the mods can move the thread to where it belongs.

I am looking to sell my bike but I'm not sure how much to ask for it. The bike is a 2003 600RR and I have looked around on eBay and AutoTrader for the going prices. However I am asking this question because the bike is dripping with extras (some the previous owner bought and some of my own) and I don't know if these will bump up the price I can ask for the bike (a price people will buy at lol) or if it makes no difference.

If anybody can help me out I would be very grateful and thanks in advanced.

Some of the 'extras' you have may actually detract away from the value of the bike.

It depends, I'm looking for a hypermotard, I wouldn't consider buying one without the Termis or a few carbon bits. I reckon my Triumph will be worth more than a standard one too, I think it depends what mods and how they are done.

Dont expect the extra's to bump the price up.
They are only worth anything to people who actually want the bits that have been added on.

I would sell the bike as standard, giving the buyer the option to add the extra's they want.
You can always advertise the other bits on their own, if the buyer does not want them.

You don't say what extra's are on the bike so its hard to make a decision. As some such as huggers, fenda extenders which should really be as std, don't add anything to the real ££ value of the bike, only make it more sellable Thumbs Up
