Geely JL125...

Hey, just bought a Geely JL 125 cruiser thing (it was cheap and i needed to get to work)... Not even had it 2 weeks and i've had to change the headlight and the kickstart is loose.... oh yeah and it cuts out every 50 - 60 miles and won't start for a few mins (doesn't really bother me though cos it gives me time for a fag )

Anyways, today i was riding home and randomly the left hand side panel fell off, now it's really wobbly and unstable above about 25 -30... Can't see anything obviously wrong with it, but the parts where the panel was on have snapped? Tyres seem okay with pressure, but the steering feels a bit funny... Totally puzzled lol.
Anyone got any ideas?

The cutting out is probably a blocked breather pipe on the fuel tank.

No idea why the side panel dropping off would cause steering problems. Presumably if it's a typical cruiser style the aerodynamics will be those of a housebrick anyway, so it probably won't be that.

Yeah, i'll try putting it back on to see what it's like. Just kind of freaked me out because it snapped off and then the steering went all weird. Cheers mate .
