The Bedington Fire Dept is holding a raffle for a custom built firefighters chopper. The bike will be designed and built by Orange County Choppers in Rock Tavern, NY, the (American Chopper) crew from the Discovery Channel. Only 10,000 tickets will be sold first come first serve. The bike will be delivered by OCC to the BVFD Interstate Fair in 2004, you do not need to be present to win. For info and raffle entry vist

You may not realise.. but this is a mostly UK based forum, so not many are likely to be interested.
Add to the fact the majority (with notable exceptions robby) prefer bikes that can go around corners.. I wouldn't expect /too/ many people to be buying your tickets Smile

That picture is DEFINETLY not the NYFD bike...

But please dont bash.

The bike was built to honor and mourn the loss of life by the many Firefighters who risked and lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

This is a sensitive subject, i dont like cruisers, but i would love to ride the NYFD bike any day, not for the ride, but for what it represents.

Firefighters will always have my respect, wherever they are, but saying a chop is built in their memory won't make me like it, no matter what. If it's ugly it's ugly. Shocked

I thought the NYFD chopper looked pretty damn cool... granted it is a cruiser, which is all i am against... but still. That or the stealth bike they did *drool*
