Coming back on the motorway today, I suddenly got loads of noise.

On further looking

Never had a problem like this before, i've got 1 weeks warranty left on the bike. But last service was not at a dealers. But books stamped.

But not sure if it's the downpipes, the exhaust or just the thing that joins them together. (Don't happen to have anoter ER6 to look at).

Can anyone help.

That's nothing to do with servicing so they'd have a poor argument. I'd check the warranty wording as you might find it's not covered anyway. Take it down there and ask them to get it welded-up, you have nothng to lose by asking.

Took it down yesterday, they're going to put a claim in on Monday with Kawasaki.

Took bike in 4pm Saturday.

5pm Monday, bikes all fixed with new down pipes. All under warranty.

Turns out they had them in stock, how spawny is that especially as only 7 days left of warranty.

crafty begger!

How long was the warranty? I find that quiet rediculous anyway the fact that they've rotted in (probably) a short time.

2 year warranty.

I do look after the bike, it gets hosed down daily in winter.

But I do ride most days whatever the weather.

Yeah picture looks bad.

But the rest of the bike is in mint condition, its washed weekly. In winter daily. There's no other rust or marks on the bike.

As your warranty has now ran out, I would make sure you pay special attention to that area, especially in winter.
