1994 Green CB500, shows signs of its age but generally good condition. Leaking oil from sheared valve cover bolt -EDIT- Just been out to check and it is definitely coming from the valve cover bolt hole, NOT blown head gasket.
Needs the bolt drilled out and a new one put in to be rideable, shouldn't be too expensive. Could possibly run with the hole just plugged as it is only oil spraying out of the hole, no breaks in any gaskets or anything
C+S good condition, plenty of wear left on rear drum, almost new pads on front brake.
Cosmetic damage from a crash including scraping on the fairings and tank, and gaffer tape covering a hole in the clocks. It doesn't look ideal but they work and hold water.
Located in Fair Oak, near Southampton.
Open to offers. More pictures available on request!
I should add, reason for sale is that I'm off to uni in September, can't afford to run a bike at uni and don't want to keep it outside through another winter! |
