There are some funny moments but it's hardly an epic.

I told you in the PM's that i have to decline you hour long anal session cos i'm not that way inclined and after numerous attempts to let you down lightly i'm just going to put it bluntly.

So far watched The Felon and The Road, both I thought were very good so cheers Misc, the latter is somewhat depressing although it's probably a more realistic and less romantic view of a post apocalypse world unlike every other movie.

Felon really surprised me, has that very low budget TV show look but really glad i watched it now. May have to give it another look.

Thought the Road was one of the best post apocalyptic i've seen because of the more realistic take as you said. Read up on it after & a few people were moaning that it was boring, which i think was the whole point of the movie & i think it worked well.

I also had a big smile when they found the bunker. Smile

Someone mentioned Stand By Me too, watched that at the weekend. I didn't shed a tear, no I did not.

Fantastic film. Love how it captures that American small town summery feel. Smile The end narration (from memory) hits you pretty hard after you've gotten to know the characters fairly well.

Always wanted to go to one of these outback small towns, look very relaxing.

Couple of new films released.

Frozen Been waiting for this, it's a low budget & looks to be a suspense/thriller.

"Three skiers are stranded on a chairlift and forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death"

Give the trailer a watch, doesn't look too bad. Smile

Torrent

Also The Expendables, there seems to be a very good quality 720p out.

Not seen Ironman 2 yet, really enjoyed the first. I want his house.

From what i've read it contains loads of cameos & tie ins from comic book characters who non-comic book readers like myself might not 'get'?

2011 looks like a comic book movie frenzy. Everything is getting made it seems.

Exit Through The Gift Shop = shit

Any site that's any good will have it's own pre channel so you shouldn't need to bother with the scene release sites, however dup3.me and scnsrc.net are both pretty good predb's if you don't have access to anything better. Wink

Hadn't heard of this, would of thought it'd been quite interesting. What was bad about it?

I was using Rlslog which is slow as hell & when it's not being slow it's offline. The comments are also spammed with rarely any comments on the download in question. Also using VCDq, the reason i wanted a change was because it didn't tell em Iron man 2 was out, but just checked & it is now showing it. Razz

Still, i could do with an alternative to Rlslog for T.V shows & other non film stuff (will check out the ones you posted), i guess VCDq shall stay.

I watched this last night & thought it was really good, especially for a low budget. Has one very cringe worthy scene that made me look away. Mr. Green It's well acted/directed & is very tense, it does have some problems but with a low budget like this i can forgive. Smile

The trailer gives a lot away so if you do watch the film, try to give the trailer a miss. I'd give it a high 6/10.

Another new film that sounds interesting Buried. The whole film is shot in one location, inside a box for 90 minutes. Will give this a watch too.

Thought i'd add something, I watched "The Boat That Rocked" last night.

Enjoyable escapism for a few hours, even if it was a massively exaggerated view of the facts.

About pirate radio broadcasts from the North Sea in the 60's.

Similar feel to it, as Almost Famous, if you enjoyed that. Directed by four weddings, love actually bloke but don't let that put you off.

I don't laugh much at any films, not really a comedy sort, but it got me a couple of times, which is saying something.

My god... I appreciate people have different tastes but I love watching films and The Boat That Rocked is the only film in memory that I turned off. I found it boring beyond description.
