Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw 2/10
This was the first time I watched Fast & Furious series in the theatre, and I wanted to watch car racing film, but this had nothing to do with car racing. Story wasn't good and I couldn't enjoy it. But Vanessa Kirby was very beautiful. This made me happy.

The Red Sea Diving Resort 9/10

Wasn't sure what to expect but it was a good film been a supposed true occurrence. Quite sad at times but not a depressing sad. Well worth watching IMO.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw 3/10

Unlike any of the previous F&F although it still tried to contain some humour with kid like name calling, some boom action but the story line was pretty shit.

Yesterday 5/10

Quite like the Beatles music. The story line could have been so much better it makes you wonder why they opted for how the ending was.

Green Book 9/10

Another 9/10 from me. I thought this was pretty good. I know some previous posters have described the film script. Another one worth adding to the must watch film.

John Wick 3

Pretty much like the previous ones although I thought the 1st was the best. I hope the 4th will be better.

Fighting with my family. 9/10

Some good actors and a good story line.

A score to settle. Nic Cage back on top form in a revenge thriller. Benjamin Bratt makes an appearance as well as other Hollywood celebrities. A solid 8/10 with some genuinely funny moments.

It was reasonable, I saw it on netfix I'd say it was 6/10

DOOMSDAY. 8/10. An old Neil Marshall film from 2008. Bob Hoskins, Rona Mita, Craig Conway and a few others you'll recognise. Post apocalyptic type film. Build a wall around the sweaties and contain a virus (basically a bigger version of Hadrian's wall).

Them Scot's are to blame.

That's an excellent film. I especially like where they have cooking labels on the people cooking machine.

Captain Phillips - 8/10

A film with a really boring name, about a guy on a boat, turns out to be surprisingly good. I learned a thing or two about the way freight ships are trained to protect themselves, amongst other things.

It was clearly over dramatised at the end - I bet the real life version of events was nowhere near as tense - but overall I think it a provided a fairly watchable version of a Somali piracy event that actually did happen.

Not sure if it's something I'll watch again any time soon, but it's definitely worth a punt for those who haven't seen it.

MA. 7/10

Creepy stalky needy 50's something fat black woman, gets pally with a group of young high school teens. Dark, disturbing, intriguing.

A few actors that you've seen before. Octavia Spencer (shape of water) plays the lead. A good solid film, nothing new though. Been done before. Revenge thriller.

Edward Scissorhands - 6/10

Haven't ever watched this all the way through. It was boring and felt more like a challenge than a joy to sit through the whole thing.

Not a terrible film - the acting, plot, settings etc are all fine - but it was just boring.

The Dark Crystal - 9/10

Awesome film, the work that must have gone into making all those puppets, scenes etc is almost unimaginable. Way more impressive than the throwaway CGI stuff that gets used and re-used these days.

Feels like a mix between Avatar, Lord of the Rings and... the Muppets? Laughing

Great film anyway.

Arctic 0/10

Possibly the worst film I've seen. Got half an hour in and skipped to a few minutes before the end, and NOTHING had changed.

Mind you, it got positive reviews, so shows what I know.

Angel has fallen 6/10

Gerard Butler to the rescue once again. Morgan Freeman as the President, Nic Nolte plays a bit part. Meh, it's just so WHATEVER!

One man takes down an army scenario. 2 hours of shooty shooty BOOM BOOM explosions. Seen it all before.

I watched John Wick 3, and I am sad to say..... I got bored!

I normally love OTT fighty, shooty type things, but I ended up feeling like I'd watched it all before.

Men in Black International (IV) - 6/10

Not great, not terrible. Won't watch twice, entertaining enough.

Only the brave - 10/10

Randomly found this movie on Netflix, quite enjoy true story films, especially war and disaster films, couldn't really find any faults with this movie at all, very good watch

The Dark Crystal Age Of Resistance is released on Netflix this Friday.
It's a prequel still using puppets.

Tunes of Glory 8/10 (1960)

Thought it was just a silly film at the start, bit of a comedy/caper/nonsense non starter. But, it's very good, quite dark, unexpected turn.

It's all about John Mills and Alec Guiness, but I think that Dennis Price was very, very good.

Suprised I've not seen it sooner.

Yep, I saw someone stuck a trailer up on Facebook. I thought it was CGI though. I guess I wasn't looking close enough!

The Natural - Robert Redford 6/10

Okay. It's about baseball, but I prefer the original Bad News Bears and The Babe, but this is okay.

Valley Uprising - documentary 8/10

I liked it a lot, docu about climbing in Yosemite, and various generations of alternative lifestyle types and their approaches to climbing, and their brushes with the law for potenitally harming kittens, etc

The Mule - 6.5/10

A film where Clint Eastwood gracefully accepts he's an old man. Not boring, but not great either. Acting is mostly cardboard, though I think he successfully manages to play the part of a doddery old man getting into stuff he shouldn't really be getting into.

Not very exciting; the trailer gave me different expectation than what the movie was actually about.

Not disappointed, but not specially interested in ever watching again.

The perfection (2019) 7/10

Pretty good horror film with some neat twists.
Not for the faint hearted though. I watched before bed and had nightmares.
