Just got a letter that i HAVE to update the photo on my licence (for the bargain cost of £20 Rolling Eyes ) , problem being is i have my driving test in a couple of weeks .

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your licence back after sending it to them ?

Well don't do it until after the test. Then you can get it changed to passed driving test aswell.

Would do mate but it has to be in date to take the test - i'm actually illegal atm lol Laughing

I sent mine off on Friday, i'll let you know how long it takes. You should have a few weeks before it runs out though and the DVLA say that they send them back within 15 working days.

Mine didn't take that long actually, probably less than two weeks. I did however put a small stickie in, asking them not to forget my bike licence as they did my Dad and five friends!!!

It worked.

I am a bit hacked off that, in another 10 years I will have to update it again!!! Rolling Eyes It's all about making money from us...fekkers.
