Tapatalk Activation?

I use Tapatalk on my iPhone to access some other forums and wonder whether the mods at BCF have looked into registering this forum for it? It's free to register and any iPhone or Android users would then pay for the app if they want it.

I'm not affiliated to Tapatalk so there's no gain for me apart from it's much easier to use than accessing the forum through Safari.

So, doable or not?

It would be up to Korn; mods can't really do anything like that.
However, a quick google suggests that as I can use HTML (like this), that this is phpbb2, not phpbb3 - only 3 is supported according to the tapatalk site.

tapatalk FTW! very good i use it for 4 other forums, one of which is owned by a friend and i recommended it to him and he did it for free with 10minutes to get it working on his forum.

Tapatalk only works with phpBB 3.0 boards whereas BCF is based on a very heavily-modified phpBB 2.0 which isn't supported by their apps.

Tapatalk is so much easier when on the phone. BCF is the only forum I visit that isn't Tapatalk enabled.

So upgrade the phpBB format and sort it out!

Doesn't HAVE to be Tapatalk to be fair.

The TalkPhotography forum I'm on built their own app that syncs with the forum.

May be an option for Korn if he's got some spare time?

there is that but then he has to pay an iphone developers fee and we'd have to pay for another app similar to the one we already have and korn will have spent many hours developing an app instead of upgrading bcf and spending 45 seconds installing the tapatalk here
