Ryans Ryde

Hi Everyone
On Sunday I was privileged to go on my first Ryans Ryde what an amazing Day and a great cause last year they reckon 2500 bikers were on the run this year they say there were more it was a day I will never forget it started on Hopwood Services Junction2 of M42 and ended in the Beams Pub in Stourport Which incidentally is my local (how lucky is that). It was a marshaled event so no stopping at traffic lights, roundabouts or Junctions. There were some awesome Bikes and Scooters there and although I was only on my little 125 I never at any stage felt out of place If it runs again next year its a run not to miss. Thanks to all the Marshals and organisers hope You raised lots of Cash.

There are lots that think bike ride outs are horrible but for those of us that do enjoy them the first big ride out is a great feeling. Something nice about standing on the pegs and looking forward and all you see is bikes and looking in the mirrors to see the same.

The first one I went on was a coast road ride in Northern Ireland and there were about 1500 bikes. It was great riding into the fishing towns where the land curves into a bay and looking across the bay watching bikes leaving the town on the other side. Then as I was leaving the towns, looking back over the bay to see more bikes entering.
