AJS JSM 125

hey all i am new to BCF. I have recently bought the AJS JSM 125 and was wondering if it is possible to de-restrict this bike? If it is could you please let me know how? any tips? pictures maybe? Thanks

hi,unfortuntately the engines the same as a yam ybr so its not restricted and making its best power

fastest you'll be looking at is 70 if your lucky

So is there no sort of restriction in the end of the exhaust? or the cdi? Or inside where the exhaust comes out like on a dt?

As Robb has already said your bike is already producing its maximum power of around 12 bhp so is not restricted in any way, the two stroke 125 cc bikes are restricted to the legal max of around 14 bhp and can be derestricted to make a lot more. Any tuning or modifications to the 125 cc single cylinder four strukes tends to make them unreliable and then they self destruct, If you want a fourstroke that produces more power then go for a Hyosung 125 or the MZ rt125.

you can stick any exhaust you'd like,the only thing it would change is the exhaust sound

70's fast enough

gets boring doing 120 etc
