Alright peeps!

Does anyone know where I can get on from? Tried Fowlers spares but they only have either the rotor that fits in the wheel for a few quid or the whole speed sensor for nearly £100! I am struggling to find anything on the web. My magnet has split in to two bits and the speedo no longer works.

Best bet is a used speed sensor assembly, probably cost around £20-30. Phone a breakers, check ebay and ask the 'madforit'??? guy on here, he runs a breakers. Look in show and tell there is a thread by him.

Is it a rare earth magnet (looks like metal) or just a standard black 'looks like ceramic' magnet? Much easier with a standard magnet but you could try shaping a bit of magnet to the same size and fitting it in it's place, so long as it is similar power, size and polarity it 'could' work.

Speakers are a good source of magnets Thumbs Up .

Cheers fellas I finish work early tomorrow so i'll have a ride out to a dealer and try and get the part. Just out of interest CHR15, where did you find the part name and number?
