Me and the missus had no trouble insuring our Terra 125 and Cross City 125 respectively. Hers has been trouble free for over a year now and mine has been almost as good, suffering only from a tracking HT cap in a downpour. OK, it stopped me in my tracks and meant I had to hitch a lift to my Mod 1 test but it was a relatively simple problem.

All in all I rate them, even the Spanish customer services helpline is very good. The only caveat I'd suggest is that if you're buying new to buy from your closest dealer. Although any dealer will do warranty work (if necessary) some will insist on payment up front if you didn't purchase the bike from them as Derbi UK are quick to agree to warranty claims but slow to pay out to the dealer.

Yeah, I realised that the insurance bit was slightly moot but I really wanted to mention the reliability and the dealers.
