CBT and Theory test completed. Just the practical to book now. Thanks to all posters on this forum, reading your advice and encouraging comments really helped.

Just one thing for other newby riders; the hazard perception needs as much practice as you can get online/DVD etc. I've been driving for over 20 years with only one accident (hit black ice and wiped out a farmer's fence!) and I only just passed - not because I didn't see the hazard just didn't click right.

Good luck to all new riders and thanks again to all you who have given their time and experience to help us all.

why didn't anyone tell me how much fun riding was when I was younger?

Very Happy

Good luck on the practical test. But I do think your post should be called 2 down and 2 to go as there are 2 parts of the practical test.

Keep us informed how you get on etc. And most of all, enjoy the 2 wheeled life.

Did you know, That line actually came from the fact that people thought one of the members of the band was actually called pink.

Off topic, make sure you watch The Australian Pink Floyd at some point live.

I've seen them twice, the closest you can get to real Floyd live now.

On topic, good luck with your practical modules!

Off Topic. Woolly would like it noted for the record that she is a bit of a fan, too.

Remember my first proper PF moment- I was alone on an overnight train on a hot summer night in Italy, lying on the bunk bed and tuning in my radio. What I got, although I didn't know it at the time, was the uninterrupted whole of Shine on you crazy diamond in the silence and the dark.
