/swap KTM 520 EXC

2002/2003 (52 plate) fully road legal. currently on daytime MOT. no tax.

(until next summer iirc) because i was too eager to get it on the road and couldnt be arsed waiting for or buying a rear brake switch.

it's got the usuals. excel rims, full WP suspension, clutch master cylinder cover, brembo brakes, magura hydraulic clutch, renthal sprockets, ktm grips, magura fat bars, quick release rear brake pad system, frame infills, wavey discs, metal hand guards and an aluminium bash plate.

everything works, and the engine is well maintained, but the rest could probably do with a bit of a clean if you give a shit about that sort of thing (its an offroad bike ffs), but all linkages, bearings, bushes have been cleaned around and greased at every wash.

Just had a top end rebuild (finally back together yesterday), not even run in at present, but probably will be very soon. all new gaskets etc etc. as well as a new carb slide due to the old one breaking. common problem apparantly, but sorted, so good for another 7-8 years if you look at it that way. leakdown test showed valves sealing properly, decoked, reassembled with new rings, and no signs of unusual wear.

valve clearances done, oil and both filters etc etc.

I've probably done about 100 road miles on it since owning it, and done 2 motocross track days and 1 enduro pay and ride thing on it. If anything, it's been over serviced in that time. oil changed twice and filters done once. 0 miles so far since rebuild.

things i'm after? maybe something similar but smaller, as 520 on enduro and hillclimbs is just too much weight and torque. i just dig trenches and lose speed, yet can do the same climbs just fine on a 200exc. maybe a 2 stroke in exchange?

i also really want a zx636 B1h (2003 onwards) so may be up for a PX.

collection from plymouth area or delivery possible up to as far as bristol i guess.
