Been reading about "greasing the swingarm bearings" (in a motorcycle magazine).

Just wanted to confirm - the CB500, does not have greaseable swingarm bearings does it? (is it a sportsbike only thing?) I just have never seen any mention of it in the Haynes manual, nor on CB500 websites.

It may have bushes with no bearings, and seals to keep grease inside the bushes, if it's anything like the YBR. Does the service manual mention re-greasing swingarm bushes at all? I'm supposed to do it every 16'000 miles but it's a right pain as you need to remove the exhaust and everything else at the back and replace the seals. Does the Haynes mention it at all even in the 'frame/suspension' chapter, might be just a mention of it when re-assembling the swingarm to the frame, rather than it being a service item?
