After having various bits and pieces sorted on my bike (cbr400rr) new battery , fork seals , steering head bearings I have now got a new problem and I am at a dead loss . I have no spark , it has suddenly decided to not spark at all , I have changed the cdi to no avail , it has been checked and the coils are ok , the pulse generator is fine as is the fuel pump . the bike turns over ten to the dozen but will not fire , I have stripped and cleaned the kill switch and cleaned the only earth I can find on the frame- I dont know which way to turn - it fired in the button everytime and now nothing , has anybody got any ideas please as I am banging my head against a wall here Evil or Very Mad Question

Did check the fuses , but I have just had a brainwave ! The engine had a minor welding job done but when this was repaired the bike was laid on its side - now despite the battery being out would the tilt sensor kick in as it has been a pig to start since then ( only managed twice after ages of trying ) till it wont start at all Question

Yes I realise that now , I managed to find a comprehensive wiring diagram for the bike so I am back to square one . As for the welding it was right on the bottom of the engine casing where the sump meets ( the fairing bracket mount was damaged ) anyway the only electrics anywhere near it was the pulse generator that seems to be checking out fine

Go back over it and check all connections. You only need one off or loose and it won't start.
If it still doesn't start post up a wiring diagram for us.
