I have a 12v 6a battery fitted on my bike and need some advice on which type of charger to get, i'm assuming that any 12v charger would do the job can someone please confirm this for me.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure the charge rate isn't too high. Try and keep it under well 1 coulomb. ie if it's a 5Ah battery, try and get a 5 amp charger or smaller. If it's a 2.5Ah battery, get a 2.5amp charger or smaller. If you used standard 12v car charger on a small battery you will likely damage it.

Something like this would be ideal, but would take about 12-14 hours to fully charge

or this

something like this one will charge quicker, but costs more and isn't as good for your battery. It will charge in about 8 hours

What will you need it for anyway? Most batteries should hold a charge for a decent amount of time even in winter.

Heated grips. according to logbook my battery will run 120watts, the grips are 33w each.
