I'm planning to take out the Db killer on my Arrow Dakar exhaust for the Transalp to help it breath a bit more with the K&N but last time i tried i ended up rounding off 2 of the bolts (wrong sized allen key D'Oh!) so i want to get spares before i attack it again. They take a size 3 Allenkey I did buy some on e-bay but when they arrived they where the wrong ones and tiny. Heres the pic's.

Hi

Looks like an M3 or M4 (difficult to tell with the light on the piccy) button headed bolt. M3 is tiny so I would suspect M4.

The size of allen key isn't that important, and thread size and the tool to undo them are not directly related with metric bolts (they were with Whitworth).

Should be easy to get a bolt like that. Suspect any small bike shop can supply you with a few for a nominal amount (if you were near Stafford I would say to come round and grab some as I am certain I have some stainless steel fairing bolts that size).

All the best

Keith

Yep think your all right they look like M4x10 so will order some of those before I attack the exhaust again.

I'd lay odds on it being M5x12. If you've any hexagon head bolts that take an 8mm spanner, take it out and try it. if it fits, its M5.
