Just a heads up. I saw a smart car with a speed camera sticking out of the top of it parked up in Weybridge, off J11 of the M25.

From what I saw, It was red, had the camera mounted on a pole on the roof, the camera was black, the car was stickered up with speed camera signs and it was sitting just around a blind corner in a 30mph zone.

Something like this...

https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/7994449.stm

I've been told a black one hangs about around Heathrow, but never seen it (hopefully it hasn't seen me).

The woman in the video is so terrible at that job, I am guess she is even worse at 'real' police jobs so they sent her in a smart car with a periscope as a joke.

Are you sure it had a 'speed' camera sticking out of it? Where abouts in Weybridge was it as that be my home town.

You're not wrong, her control is absolutely shit. More likely the stick is dodgy, but yeah.

They'd have a hard copy on their so called 'hard drive', lol. It would be theft and a fine + points. The Hard drive looks like a 1960s computer.

This, is a hard drive

This is a case/tower, or perhaps a 'computer', most commonly named a 'hard drive' by dosey bints who know more about their toaster than their PC.

Pet hate of mine, makes as much sense as calling a car a clutch.

God a pet hate of mine, is when someone asks me if i can put some toast in the toaster!!
I often reply with either: "I'll have to put some bread in there first to toast", or "No, we don't have any toast".

Also pisses me off that they keep hold of footage of innocent people, it's in the same vein as keeping innocent peoples fingerprints and DNA on file.

Such a bunch of bollocks.

So we're going to have 1000s of CDs in Police storage of ourselves innocently driving for no reason?

Great work guys, catching the real criminals as always. Thumbs Up!

My friend said his friends keep getting done at Walthamstow.

Have seen one stopped on a box junction (not turning right) before, was very tempted to take a snap, was on the bike and the damn thing probably would have got me with my phone out so it wouldn't have been worth it anyway.

There are two near me that I have seen pretty regularly (although less so in the last 6 months) for the last 2 years or so.

I thought it was a speed camera at first, but from what I've read they do seem to be CCTV.

It was on Heath Rd. Near the High Street end.

Why don't you take up the new sport???

CCTV CAMERA CAR HUNTING.

IT BUGS THE SHIT OUT OF THEM, AND THEY GO HOME AND MAKE NO MONEY AND PEOPLE GET TO GO ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS WITHOUT TICKETS.

SUPPORTING THEIR DRIVE FOR PUBLIC AWARENESS OF CCTV CARS IS A CIVIC MINDED THING TO DO.

Fuck off.

I always think they are the Google cars.
And then I realise, it don't say "Google" on the side, oh bugger.

By then its prolly too late, I'm bound to have broken the law by the time I remember to look for the Google logo.

Y'know, buzzing up and down the side of the car, trying to get "into the picture" for the next Google maps thingie, and wondering if they have the camera actually on whilst you're behind/in front/generally in their way.

I dunno, I thought it was quite funny, following it round with a horn and letting people know it was there.

I'd do that.
Just for the devilment of it.

Cool Thumbs Up

Is it against the law to ride around London tooting [what sounds like] a foxhunting horn.
Can't see how you could get nicked for anything.

Fuck off, nothing you do is civic minded, you're a selfish cunt who enjoys causing delays to hundreds if not thousands of other road users.
