There was a post here not to long ago about selling an NSR. The same guy had an arrows system fitted and therefore had a spare Honda original exhaust.

This guy subsequently had his NSR twocked before he managed to sell it. He still has the stock exhaust.

I emailed him and he said "Ill take a fair offer on the exhaust pipe..."

Because I don't know jack shit, what would you lot say was a fair price for an NSR exhaust?

I am going to email him back about the condition of it but assuming its mint, what would be decent price?

I am not bothered about it being restricted or not, thats what I want to do, is have one restricted and one not so if / when I come to get rid of the NSR... you know the score.

Also, does anyone know what the postage of it would be? I have no idea how much it weighs.

If i can remember correctly from my crash quote, the RRP for a new NSR exhaust is about £300.

From this you should be able to sort out an adequate price I guess.

i got mine from Stews Ex - Zaks Ex - colins Ex, NSR =)

But £300 is evil you should be able to get one from a breakers yard for much much cheaper, failing that, i'd sell you mine =) lol

Well, thanks for putting me off, erm, I mean thanks for the quotes Smile

I have emailed the guy and will wait until he tells me what condition it is in before I offer my price.

How much does one of these things weigh (sp)? Has anyone ever sent one through the post? (I don't know where the guy lives so i'm expecting to have to pay P+P too)

Cheers

What on earth do u want a stock exhaust if you are going to buy another one? Confused , if you are going to buy another one buy an arrow, jollymoto or nikon pipe, will be cheaper i think and you will get a little bit more performance out of a race system, plus it sounds cool too Razz .

I started this thread by asking what people thought the price would be for a mint condition exhaust. Assuming everyone read that bit and is giving me prices accordingly, I would not have thought that you could get a mint system for £90 Smile

Plus I am skint

I never said you could. I said thats what I'd offer him. I mean, there is no demand for second hand NSR exhausts really.

but you'll possibly loose mid range power, and make the power band even more than narrow.

hich wouldn't be so bad,,, but its a 2 stroke and the power band is already quite small..
