I bought two of these Led lights for my garage so i can work on the bike in the dark and these lights are great!

I currently just place them on the garage floor and they light the garage up bright enough to see everything

They would work better if taped to the celling but cba to as they work fine on the floor.

I would recommend these to anyone who has no light in there garage these are so handy and great!

Bought them from Maplins £9.99 each

One set of lights takes six AAA batterys so to power both sets of lights i needed 12 AAA hence i bought a pack of 100 AAA batterys from Maplins for £15

FWIW rechargables (1100 mAh) here.

Not sure if that'll work out cheaper/greener (6x4packs=24 batteries=£18.54+p&p, obviously 3 packs cheaper @ £9.87+p&p).
For £15 per 100 you get 8 changes of batteries.
Yet the rechargables can be reused 1000 times (if you believe the makers).

Thanks for the heads up on the LED lights.

Mate of mine has a neat set-up

Solar panel trickle charger that keeps a cheapo 12v car battery topped up.. that powers a fair few LEDS. place is really bright.

He's had this going for a few years now. Just get the battery fully charged to start with and thats it. the panel does the rest.

Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.
