ok so im 17. i've done my cbt Cool
i had a piaggio zip 50 which was pretty nippy to say the least for 13 months before parking it in the side of a volkswagen tourag Smile
now i got a job again after losing my other one a week after crashing my zip, im looking to find another mode of transport.
now im clueless of what to get but i'd very much like something FAST.
i really enjoyed riding my zip as it was effortless and fun and i still have friends with scooters.
but i also like the idea of a geared 125 but im not familiar with gears, so if i was to get one it'd cost me an extra 90 quid for the cbt(to learn gears).
advice would be much appreciated Smile

To be honest mate I would'nt bother getting another scooter.
Get a geared 125, preferably 2 stroke if you really want speed, and I definately would'nt bother doing your Cbt again just to learn gears.

There is plenty of information on the internet on how to ride... And I was pulling away within 5 minutes Razz

You will get the hang of it really quickly just practice somewhere safe if you can

Thumbs Up

Gears are simple mate. You can stay in first and ride slowly to get to a safe road to practice on if you wish. First on a 125 is good for 10-15mph.
