Does anyone know of a trailer that just carries one bike? Nust be a 'manufactured' one not a homebuilt, due to getting it registered in Germany.

All I can seem to find are ones for 2-3 bikes...

Planning ahead somewhat(and assuming I'll pass mod 2!) to take a bike from Germany to Turkey next year.

Ta in advance Wink

Well my mate has had his all over the shop, including a trip from the UK through to Germany and back, not one problem. The front wheel locking system is also good, you can load a bike with one person.

If you are looking for a trailer that just carries one bike, try this ExtraWheel bicycle trailer. This trailer differentiates itself from other one-wheeled trailers for the fact that it has a big wheel which makes it much faster and easy to overcome bigger obstacles. From my experience you will not find any other bicycle trailer as lighter as this one and you probably won’t find a cheaper one either.

That Erde jobby looks just the thing Thumbs Up Can't find out if they're certified in Germany...have to mail them...edit; just read the spec on the Erde website and they ARE certified... Very Happy

mad4it028- that's a monster! Like the idea, though get a problem with the air system and it'll be dragging its arse on the ground Wink

airah18- you're either spamming, or you've got the wrong end of the stick entirely Rolling Eyes

On the subject of trailers, where would be the best place to pick up a 2 bike trailer, second hand? What do I need to look out for?

i.e. does it have to have lights fitted by law? I don't know...

Ebay I'd have thought.
Or maybe your local trade-it type paper?

Yes it does need lights like any other trailer.

One here;
