After riding a Honda NSR for 2 years and Suzuki GSXR 6 for 1 year i have decided to take a break and buy a car for a year, having a car is fine but it is indeed just a transport for me, unlike bikes.

Time couldn't have been better either because my 9 points have expired on 16th of September! Time goes fast! Also my restriction period is almost finished so no restrictors for me.

My budget would be around 2 grand or just over if i find a right bike, im thinking a 600cc would be just fine. Basically i want a super sport, loved my srad gixxer and would have anoter any day.

So choice is between R6, GSXR6, Ninja, CBR and maybe possibly Daytona ?

Im 6' 2 tall so not sure about R6 but right now R6 favorite.

Any thoughts?

Go into a bike shop, wave your two grand in the air and see what you come out with.

Im 6'2" tall and own an R6 and dont have any problems with it. I also tested a ZX6R and CBR600rr but could not get comfy on them. It might have been a mental thing but had already set my heart on an R6 even though i had never sat on one lol. I have not riden a Gixer so cannot compare.

Im quite set on R6, just always wanted one. Gixxer would be a plan B i guess, ninja styling doesn't do it for me Sad and daytona is out of my price range.
