I went out today on the mighty little CG.
I had a few errands to run that wer`nt to far away but far enough away to make the ride worthwile.
so knowing that I would be travelling at a slower rate, I decided to only use B-roads.
That way I could see a few bits of my local area that I might usually miss.
There I was pottering through the small lanes not worring about how fast I was going or other traffic and all was cool.
At a juntion I picked up a big naked in line four going the same route as me and he actually gave me the old bikers nod Smile .
so I carry on pottering along these B-roads and when I look over my shoulder the big bike is still there, no problem.
this goes on for about ten miles until I pull over to use a small shop.
The other rider stops as well and tells me that I was doing well and going a good pace! Smile
We had a little bit of a chat and came to the conclusion that big bikes and small roads do not mean they are king of the road anymore, and secondly if you know your small bike and the road you can suprise a lot of bigger bike riders Smile .
He told me how he had to do a lot more braking than I did to scrub off speed, where-as I seemed to sail through the same bend.
admittedly I have to keep the little CG wound up to keep up the pace, so I am less inclined to let off the throttle Smile .
So by the time he had caught up with me again we were into another corner Smile .
He pulled away onto a straight bit and I was just a dot in his mirror and he was gone.

Yet again the little honda performed? it`s little task without a single hiccup, on an eggcup-full of petrol Smile

This is pretty much the reason I bought one.

It's still not road legal, but it's nice to know that when I finally get it on the road, it's going to be cheap and reliable. And I'll probably keep it after I've passed my test, either as a cheap runabout, or just use it as a future winter hack.

Great little bikes.

Cheers,
Steve.
