I can't compare it directly to the CB-1, but it feels like a chunkier, softer and slower Super Four. The seat is very low to the point where I can sit on the pillion seat with both feet comfortably on the ground but yet it doesn't feel tiny whilst riding it. I suspect it's as dependable as one of the Hondas but it seems to carry a lot more little gremlins and quirks. They do seem to have a tendancy to chew clutch baskets to bits mind, mine sounds like a complete grenade to the unexperienced ear Laughing

And it's going to take a front end rebuild and some more sensible tyres to deal with those strips unfortunately, putting a 170 section tyre on a 150 rim does 'interesting' things to a tyre's profile Neutral

*edit* 70ish quid a year for tax and insurance plus sod all in fuel. It's a posh comfy commuter hack, the big XJR would cost a fair bit more to run by comparison. Oh and it has a crazy modding and tuning scene in Japan, so tarty little bits are easy to get providing you don't mind importing Smile
