Camcorder recommendations...

Hi Guys,

Looking at getting a camcorder as it would come in handy when out and about and also for the impending wedding/honeymoon.

HD not essential and budget is £150. So not massive. I don't know what to look for in camcorders which makes one better than the other, so hope someone else could help.

It's good for the money, but the stills from it will be crap.
I would consider getting a digital still camera that does good preferably HD video too for similar money.

Nothing wrong with it, however battery life one hour suggests you will need a spare and sometimes you have to get a special one from the maker can be £50 or more - try to find out.

I actually want that style of camcorder because of the ease of use (holding), rather than a small fiddly device.

I've just seen this HD one and seen some videos on youtube that are pretty impressive for the price point. Toshiba as well, so not a terrible brand.
