Where is Oxford?

Which regional group would be appropriate for Oxfordshire? It's really in a kind of dead zone, not quite Midlands, almost South West. I spend most of my time abroad, but it would be good to see what's going on in my home area for the times I get back.

I joined midlands, then got told I should of been in south east.

I check both from time to time, I suppose it depends what part of oxfordshire your in. Banbury has to be nearly midlands, but Henley could get away with south east.

A lot can change in a few hours, we now have found cheap flights and will be in Oxfordshire for the last week of this month.

Cheers, Clanger, I'll sign up to the South East and take it from there. We'll be over in a week's time, but by plane and hire car, no bike this time. Trying to work out how to have a bike over there as well, the insurance is a problem as I am primarily a resident of Finland, despite having a house, bank account, etc in England. The authorities demand that we live in one country or the other and don't seem able to cope with the idea of living in both.

South East will be better for you, I'm in Banbury and you get alot more local stuff in SE. Midlands is totally dead anyway.

I have a similar problem, I'm in Christchurch, Dorset..pretty much dead center south...so I just joined both the SE and SW groups.

I never joined any rideouts though due to lack of confidence on 2 wheels...I probably have enough now mind you, I just don't have a bike at present Sad
