I went on the motorway the other day for 2 hours straight, and at the end of my journey my boots had water in them, my chest and crotch were soaked... and I was wearing full RST gear, AND waterproof outdoor walking jacket and trousers over the top. I want to get this sorted now, as I'ts winter real soon.

I've searched this forum a lot and spent the last few hours googling: I want to be dry and warm on my motorcycle for 2 hours commuting.

Anyone any experience with any HELD products?

I have a £300 budget for some new, good gear that'll keep me dry and warm, and look alright too. Possibly okay for summer as well(ie removable inserts) but this is not essential.

I don't know about that rain suit, but ms51ves3 recommended a good suit for £125 through winter.

Feels good enough, haven't been drowned in it yet myself but feels good.

£200ish on TCX Infinity boots, and the rest on goretexed army surplus waterproofs and decent handlebar muffs would be the route I'd go on that budget...

I was talking to my mate Gok earlier this evening, and he reckons the TA reject look will be all over the catwalks next Spring Thumbs Up

Get some GoreTex gear from Hein Gericke, I think they still do interest free credit on purchases over £200 (-10% deposit) and there are a few discount vouchers knocking about as well, which will help.
