Hidden cameras eh? Clever idea, hiding the camera 8 feet above a car on a big fat pole - no-one will ever spot that!

Check out this for stealth operation:https://www.bigbrotherwatch.org.uk/home/2010/08/-medway-cctv-car-comes-under-more-pressure.html

There's one near me where it parks so all you can see is the periscope if you are in the target area. It could, of course, park visibly and act, as it is intended, as a deterrent. It is more profitable to allow offences to occur, that allegedly endanger the public, than to prevent them.

Not at all, merely widening our attack on WCC and their relentless money grabbing.

Widening your tedious spamming on these forums, more like.

Seriously, despite the obvious fervour you have for your cause - don't you have any manners at all? Your spamming and insults are clearly unwelcome here, yet you continue to post them.

Even if you're the ignorant fools you seem to be, surely you understand that the phrase 'there's no such thing as bad publicity' isn't actually true?

NTBPT related threads seem to have some of the highest viewing figures on this forum; even if it's just because some of you love to hate us. Middle Finger Mr. Green

Regardless of our campaign, I think the sport of CCTV car hunting should be encouraged. They will spread like cockroaches as councils discover they can make up to £500k pa out of each one. Just Google 'CCTV Smart Cars' and you will get some idea. The purpose of enforcement must be compliance and not revenue earning. Personally, I prefer to do something about it rather than bury my head in the sand and trade insults.

No they don't, have you not bothered to look before making statements like that or are you just making claims and hoping that no one will point out your lies?

Look around and you'll see plenty of threads that have got many times the number of views that the NTBPT threads have.

FFS it is not like they are hard to spot Rolling Eyes

It is the same for speed cameras, if you get caught then it is your own fault as they are highly visable.

You might recall that originally they started out by hiding a lot of the Gatsos and they were grey. Now they are bright yellow and visible after people kicked up a fuss.

I said "some of the highest viewing figures" . No doubt, you have the time and will to produce the statistics.

If you don't like the threads, don't post in them. If you must contribute, let's have some intelligent input and not just your personal photo albums and hair splitting.

The reason they have been so popular and the reason people instantly dislike yours on another topic is the lack of "intelligent input" from the nay-sayers; that we are constantly bombarded with the sack lack of answers each time.

I am at least quite amused by what you're doing here.
However it seems by using it as advertising for your other campaign that you attracted the same negative publicity that members of that campaign have seemingly strived to create on here.
Oh and I'd suggest some kind GPS tracking could be useful to keep an eye on the speed - be funny if you could catch them out speeding.

Well in Manchester they tend to park them on the pavement behind high walls and therefore if you aren't familiar with the locations they are placed then many people get caught those those things are used for bus lane enforcement more than anything.

Don't forget about policemen hiding and using the radar gun. They then radio an officer further down the road to pull you over.

If you obey the rules of the road you wont have a problem. When you are caught breaking the rules of the road, pay up and shut up. Thumbs Up

2 things.

1. If you are being fined by these things clearly you are doing something you shouldn't. Stop doing it?

2. If its the 'money into councils bloke's pockets' that bother you, campaign for a change in where the money generated goes. Maybe ask people if they would be willing to support a campaign for the money generated from road users to go back into London's roads via repair or making them better.

Only an idea...

The reality is that everyone (well, the vast, vast majority) break traffic law. The law is a 'lowest denominator' and the public don't find it too ridiculous because the majority of transgressions don't get penalised.

The viewing figures for your threads are all pretty low. If you want to make claims like that then you should look at the facts first because failing to do so just makes you look like an idiot.

Esinem wrote:

I agree, lets have some intelligent input because the threads so far are just pages and pages of the NTBPT campaigners ignoring questions put to them which makes the campaigners look like they haven't actually got a clue what they're talking about.

Every time people reply to the NTBPT campaigners threads and ask questions, they're giving the NTBPT campaigners the opportunity to give relevant facts, information and answers, or to continue looking like idiots. So far all the campaigners have chosen to continue looking like idiots.

The NTBPT campaign will lose their appeal because the campaigners can't even answer simple questions put to them on an internet forum, if they can't answer simple questions then they stand almost zero chance of managing to put together a successful argument to present in court. Bigblackjet is a prime example of how unprofessional the campaign is.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 15 years, 136 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
