Have i been spiked?

last night i was in my local which had a hardcore night on, unfortunately this brings all the chavs and dicks to the pub.

I must have had at least 8 pints last night yet didnt seem that drunk and also ive not slept all night and still feel wide awake now but still kinda buzzing. So im thinking some one spiked my drink with speed, does this seem likely?

Well, your heart would have been pounding, you wouldn't be able to sit still, you'd have been clenching your jaw and feeling fucking wired, any efforts to sleep would have been completely pointless due to the u stoppable internal chatter in your head, but the surefire test is that if you begin to feel like absolute shit, that you want the world to end because the misery you are experiencing is too much to handle, the yes, probably. The comedown on speed was the worst thing ever, and why I'd never do it again.

If you're too fucked or not having a good time, making yourself puke will remove anything from your stomach. Sitting down somewhere and sipping at some water will keep you hydrated and your pulse reasonable. Talking bollocks at the nearest stranger at all times will help the time pass.

Someone once spiked my pint with speed in a rock club in Glasgow.

Didn't know it was speed at the time but I knew I was totally wired to the moon when I should have been slumped in a corner following 8 pints of heavy. Definately knew it was some sort of upper, racing heart rate, patchy sweating, inability to sit still, gurning like a bastard and wittering shite.

Some time later I tried some base at a rave. I remember thinking "Aha! I've met you before.".

So yes, it can and does happen.

To be fair, I know some people who can rail it all night, get 2 hours kip, then be up and looking for breakfast like it was nothing, whereas I'd be slobbing it out in my dressing gown hiding in my bedroom only coming out for occasional cups of tea and a pack of digestives.
